87 4runner i had asian man hubs installed about 1mth ago no problem. now i have a noise up front. sounds like a rachet comes and goes. no vibrations no shimmys just that rachet noise nothing i can see out of place (not a mech) so any ideas before i get robbed at a local shop for diagnosis.

 

CV joint boots look okay, no cracks, no grease anywhere?
Noise in 2wd, 4wd, both? Hubs definitely unlocked?

 

Did you rebuild and grease the hubs when you installed them?

 

hubs unlocked, only 2 wheel drive not seeing any greese build up. cv boots look good.

 

hubs bought new from wabbit i did not install mach friend of a friend did.
