didnt get to check it as i had to finish the bumper, then helped get my friends toyota running. lubed all arm bushings, still squeeky. had my uncle jump on my bumer to hear the squeeks and hwere they were coming from, sprayed passenger side sway bar bushing and the squeek instantly stopped. maybe the sound is from my sway bar bushing being worn out?

Will it drive ok on the road? With the exception of some added body roll, obviously. But on highways will it kind of wander?

I was once anti-swaybar as well. However your mirrors will drag in turns at any speed and body roll is significantly more pronounced. Now I get out the electric impact and undo the bottom link on the bottom control arm before I go wheeling.

But the issue is that I'm trying to figure out this noise. I just don't want to have my truck drive sketchy on my 20 min freeway commute to and from work.

Unbolt the nut from the bottom of the lower control arm and tie the link up. That'll effectively remove the sway bar from the equation and you can see if the noise stops.

Believe it or not, if you're looking to eventually SAS, removing the sway bar will help you change your driving habits for when there are leafs under the front end. Obviously, with a SAS, there is no sway bar. When I rebuilt my truck, I never installed the sway bar. Knowing it isn't there will allow you to adjust the way to drive into turns. Realize that the truck was also lifted 4" right off the bat, so, I was already driving cautiously when taking turns. If you drive sensibly, you will be fine. Driving on the freeway without the sway bar isn't an issue, the truck will not wander without it. It only comes into play when turning, especially when taking an exit, or driving on a winding back road.

Ok, dropped the sway bar and the noise did not stop. My woman days it feels like it's at a spot in the floor board where the body mount and cross member are. I tightened the body mount which wasn't loose and the crossber seems fine and I don't think that could be the problem. I'm running out of ideas and just want my toyota to
Be solid again. Help!
