If you fix a code will it stop coming up

i have code 71 and while reading up on it someone said the code will continue to come up till you clear it

does that mean resetting something to clear the code

you must clear the code from the computer or it will stay there. clear it by pulling the efi fuse for about 1 minute.

yeah, or you could disconnect the battery for a short while, that will clear it too.

The code will continue until you fix the problem.

Or else, reseting it will only make it come back on in a few days

so how do you know if the code is fixed

try to fix it then reset it and if it doesnt come back its fixed
