idle problem
I have searched on this for a while but haven't found much. I apologize if I just missed it...
I have an 88 pickup with the 22re. It idles pretty good for the most part, but every few seconds it stutters. I replaced the plugs and wires a couple of months ago, the distributor cap about a year ago and just barely did the pcv valve over the weekend.
I know diagnosing these kinds of problems is difficult, so can people start throwing ideas out there for me?
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
I forgot to mention, it seems like it runs good when it's cold. When it warms up, the "stuttering" gets worse...
Thanks

what do you mean "Stutters" ? Like it will be idling, and then it will just drop down and pick back up and idle fine?
Could be a vacuum leak. I had 2 (caused by my trying to find one originally). They were both with bad gaskets on the intake side.
