There were two trucks, and two 88+ 4runners when I went.

Got some parts, still need others. There were two MKIII Turbo Supras in there too. One of them still had the R154 in it. It's gone now though.

I have a custom bellhouse left over to do this swap bolt on. And all other parts. I think I even have the engine brackets.
I replaced my 3VZE with a 7M-GE and after that (almost) died I did a new swap with a 2JZ.
It uses the 7M-GE (or 5M) flywheel and clutch, mated to the R151F from the 3VZE.
I need some parts for my runner like 93 grille and lights, so if you'r interested in swap of some sorts send me a pm..

Previous swap:

Why not get a 1JZ bellhousing, and bolt the R151 right to the 2JZ?

Btw, awesome motor!

Couldn't find one so build another custom one.
Driving it for some 2 years now.
BTW, the 2JZ THAT is an awesome motor. Makes the 7M sound and feel like it's from Fred Flintstone's car....

Nice! But the 7M makes the 3VZ/22RE seem like something cavemen developed. I am going the 7M route, as cost is going to be a factor in my build.

Oh, and I will buy your bellhousing for the right price, PM me and maybe we can work something out...

I figured this thread would've died.

So, my hecticness and bad luck haven't stopped yet. As I said, my parts car got towed and the previous owner gave me the wrong VIN# so I couldn't get it out of impound, fortunately I'm not responsible for the impound fees either now, so unfortunately, that's a write off.

Beyond that, I swapped the radiator out of that car into my Supra, it worked fine for a few days and then started leaking. I used some aluminum sealant and the leak stopped nearly instantly and seemed fine, a few days later, I was driving around with apparently no coolant, and the temperature gauge did not creep above operating temps, but some damage was done. Blew the head gasket.

So now my Supra is out of commission completely as well.

Now you guys were asking what I plan to do, well, right now I'm looking at acquiring a 7mgte to swap into the Supra, then I'll pull the 5mge out of the Supra, rebuild and turbo it and swap it into the 4runner.

Wish me luck.

If you have a bellhousing that'll get my 5m onto my transmission than I'm very interested. PM'd.
