I currently have fuel injection and dont know much about it. I really need this truck running asap! Its a 92 22R-E but I talked to a guy that said it will work if I can find the intake and carb for a 22R. Can anyone help?

 

you need intake, carb, distributor, ingiter, coil, fuel pump, fuel pump essentric and a way to remove or change your fuel tank from the efi tank to carb tank, efi fuel pump will not work with 22r. Then there is the emissions stuff that if you need to keep all of it, then you need the emissions computer from the carb truck as well.

Going from efi to carb isn't a simple as you think it is, and fixing your current stuff is easier then you think. But of course that's just me guessing because you didn't say what's wrong with yours.

 

I have it posted on another thread I am just trying to weight my options right now. I have everything except the intake and carb for my 84 Yota. Thats the issue the guy I bought it from spliced into the stock wiring harness and I have tried alot of stuff to get it to stay running. So I understand what you are saying.

 

My truck will start and run, but when I push the gas it will rev up and when I try to do it again it dies. Then if I dont do anything and let it just idle it does that for about 2 minutes and then dies.
