Depends just how your going to route the wire
If your going from inside the cab up through the roof easy to make a good splice where the light switch plugs into the harness.
Going from the outside one of the front marker lights

What model Escalade are we talking here?
A problem well stated is a problem almost solved.
What do you want the lights to do?
Do you want the lights to come one when you turn on your taillights?
Do you want them to turn on same time as your dome?
Do you want to be able to turn on manually even if tail lights are out?

I want them to turn on with the running/parking lights... It's a 1993 ext cab 4x4 pickup sr5... I planned on running the wire through the drivers identification weather strip and down either through the firewall or the top of the fender
