Possibly, pressing two buttons at the same time gets it to toggle to 12 hr?

disconnect battery and see if default is regular time, or did you already do that and default is military time? My owners manual for my 93 truck and owners manual is miles away in a barn, and it's too late to go see how to reset your clock, do you have an owners manual? Mine didn't come with a clock, but I picked up one from a wreaked 4runner in salvage yard, just haven't installed it yet. Same 4runner I picked up the lighted ash tray for loose change and lighted cig lighter for converting to a power port. Good Luck ;}

I looked in my owners manual and i didn't see anything that talked about Military time. Just showed how to set the clock and displayed regular time. I have a 94 2wd reg auto. I did Google for information and saw somewhere they were talking about the same thing on a Toyota corolla, they were saying it couldn't be switched to regular time.. so i have no idea lol. Let us know if you find out.

on a serious note, i think something got mixed up when the truck was being assembled. somehow a military time clock got mixed in with the civilian clocks. if thats the case it makes for an awesome story, your rig has something thats totally un-heard of when it comes to 4runners. well atleast around here.
