How do I remove the speed sensor from the transfer case?

I have a new transfer case for my truck and the new one didn't come with the sensor that the manual speedometer cable threads onto. Looking at the new case, the hole for it is smooth almost like it just presses in, but when trying to pry the old one out I chipped the lip on the bottom of it. How are you supposed to remove it?

Doesn't it have a bolt to one side, parallel with the shaft?
(This picture is of an electronic sender, but I believe it mounts the same way.)

I forgot to post up. I got it out. It has that little tab with the bolt i already had out. Just had to take some pliers to it and work it loose side to side for a while before pulling it out. It's just pressed in and it was really stuck in there
