I am about to mount my R150F to the inchworm adapter plate and clock the t-case(RF1A) the ten degrees. Since i have the IFS torsion bars i can't use the FROR mount.
When i clock the transfer-case, it will lift the trans mount up on one side.

So how did you mount yours?

so you are saying i will be the first on yotatech? Wow, i almost feel like a celebrity, minus the pay-check, rehab, therapy, and shallowness....hahaha, that was a total joke i am actually pretty shallow. I am going to have this whole thread to myself, i can't wait.

Doesn't budbuilt or addicted or someone like that already have a clocked cross member that works with IFS? Maybe marlin?

^^^ yes some of them do, but i wanted to hear from folks that have a clocked t-case and what they did, maybe even some pics....ooooohhhhh....aaaahhhh
I am probably just going to fab my own cross-member, i really like the FROR concept, but i can't use it with the IFS. Once i fit the trans i can take some measurements, and fab something up. My plan, as of now, Is to use the FROR(the one that is not welded together yet), and mount the frame tabs above the torsion bar mounts. This would allow me to jack the drive-train another inch easy.
I think i can squeeze an inch of clearance from the horse collar. If not, and i can mount the FROR x-member as stated above, i will make tabs in the cross-member mounts so i can hoist the drive-train at a later date when i tackle the horse collar clearance issue(probably when i go diesel).

Bumping a wicked old thread I found while searching. Anyone have any good ideas for a mounting/skidplate for a clocked case? Was going to use the fror mount but they dont make it for a clocked case anymore so it looks like were building one.

Ended up using my own cut out like the FROR when I did the SAS.
there is a CAD file floating around the internet that you could take to a machinist or fab shop and have them cut it out. Actually might just be an image file. Can’t recall.

We ordered the parts from lowrange last night to make one. Were shooting to do something like this.




Well get it mounted then figure out a skid plate, but it will probably be something simple

Similar to what I did, but I used some angle steel that I cut up to make arms instead of tube. I may to change mine a bit to accommodate the large diesel exhaust.
