Hey Logan...? where did you get that round snorkel hood i last saw in your post?? lol didn't realize that i was refuring to your post to begin with. any suggestions about how i'm running into the fender? I think i got plenty of clearance on the tire, but if it breaks i'll just think of something else... that's the fun of it iguess

yeah question... how and where are you mounting your air filter? Also... It does not seem to me, to be a good idea to run that source tube out the bottom like you did. Why not just cut a hole in the inner fender and run it out behind the fender like that? It moves the hose away from the tire and any sticks and rocks that could fly up and hit it. But thats my opinion and how i would do it. Your truck, your way.

YOu may be right about going out of the bottom. i just noticed that if you place it in the fender like you say water could possibly slide right down in there. atleast going out of the bottom the water will get trapped in that 90 under the air box. But what do i know i'm experimenting if it doesn't work out i'll patch it and go the other way i guess.

i did read it. and still can't find where he got whatever that thing is. But whatever you don't want to say or something i guess. kinda gay.... Got the hole cut and used a piece of plastic intake off my friends chevy to come out of the fender. Right now i just have a rubber 90 on there now till i find something else. I did notice a huge difference in power by getting all that cold air in. and for those who say that the maf is restrictive come put your hand over my snorkel it sucks some serious air.

Here are some pics need to make some changes to make it sit straight. I think i might find a way to go through the inner fender and seal up the whole at the bottom. would need to make a new box first. BAH

really?....I'd leave it that way....it will suck air from any direction, I'd rather it facing backwards so it doesn't get a "sip" from water splashed over the hood.
