Highbeam reminder light- annoying? yes

Anyone else find this bright blue light on the instrument panel distracting and annoying? I swear its brighter than the actual headlight themselves!

Do what my mom always did, either keep a piece of paper towel in the car to cover it or put a piece of tap over it.

Doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me is that amber "fuel" light 'cause I know I'm gonna have to drop a few bills to fill it up.

Its there for that very purpose. To constantly remind you "Hey, dummy, your brights are still on!!" That way you aren't "that guy" (as stated above) that leaves his brights on all the time.

What are high beams? I drive about 99% of the time on a 4 lane divided highway with constant traffic or in town so I never get to use them lol.

Yeah same here, but I do remember in my younger days logging many miles of isolated road where highbeams were on more than lowbeams were.

I live up in the mountains, no street lights, etc.. I use my high beams a lot.

People hate me anyways because the back sags a bit so even my low beams go into peoples back window and blinds them from reflecting off the mirrors, at stoplights, etc.

Don't be the jerk with the highbeams on and the kc lights at night time.

maybe check and make sure your bulb condom is still on the bulb. i have never had problem with mine. actually changed mine to LED and it is dimmer than stock bulb with condom.

I noticed this on my Tundra the other night coming home from skiing. It was kind of annoying, but I really don't use the high beams much, so I probably won't do anything about it.

Obviously, I don't run around with my highbeams on in the city.

I find this post a little hypocritical. Go adjust your headlights. There are 4 adjuster screws per light. You'll also find that your headlights are WAY more effective afterwards.
