hey regular cab people - A Q 4 U

is there supposed to be some sort of panel that goes below the rear window on the inside of the cab. i have just have bare metal on my truck and it looks very unfinished, especially with bucket seats. just curious...

mine didnt have one, but thats an interesting observation. i never thought of that before. i guess we're just gonna have to carpet it huh?

Just plain metal. I was thinking about putting carpet on it, but its going to be cut out soon anyways.

ive got metal also. i belive that the extended cabs had carpet and will fit in the regular cab not sure though.

I have a one peice, black felt-covered, molded plastic panel in mine. With 2 holes for the tire iron holder clips. It appears to be a factory fit, with the same type tabs holding it on that are used for everything else.

Now you got me wondering why it's there. Maybe it's part of the DLX package? Beats me. I think you'd like it though....

Mine's carpet on the floor, bet up the rear of the cab it's metal as well as the sides. The back isn't a problem though, not one sees it anyway. The speakers and sub cover it up.

In my extended cab I've also got a felt covered plastic piece (gray), with some very stretched out and useless cargo nets lol. I took mine out as I like the bare metal a bit better as the felt tends to get pretty dirty.

hmm i was wondering about this the other day. I had seen the black plastic cover, and was wondering why i didnt have one.

mines a 1986 regular cab 22r, and its just bare metal.
