I started my truck up one day and it idled okay and then when i went to hit the gas it would hesitate and bog down. This was a really big pain because i could hardly give it any gas without it shuddering, i decided to try and give it some gas one time and it all of the sudden worked tons better while this didn't fix it. Once i started again it did it. This issue slowly decreased but now my truck doesn't idle like it used to and it feels like it misses. I checked the coil and it was out of spec so my dad and i replaced it and did a tune up at the same time. Although this made it a small amount better it didnt fix the problem all the way so i replaced the fuel filter a couple days later and it didn't seem to make a noticable effect. The carb was rebuilt about 3-5 years ago and has had rutine maitinance its entire life. My truck has 99,xxx miles currently. the issue is also worse when the engine is cold and it has black smoke. Should i replace the vacuum lines and rebuild the carb and tune or what should i try next?
