Help with what I need for rear disc conversion
Hello I am a little confused on what I exactly need for the rear disc brake conversion.
To start I have a 1994 22re pickup 4wd 5 speed.

What else I need
- 85 monte carlo or seville front calipers?
-brake pads for what ever caliper I go with
-rotors from a 6 lug chevy truck ( not sure what model or years will work )
-Unsure on the 2 lb residual valve or a 1" bore Master Cylinder.
-Also unsure on the proportioning valve.

Not to be a d*ck, but what about the rear disc brake conversion kits they sell for a couple hundred bucks, it comes with literally everything you'll need. Instead of trying to collect the right parts to do it.

I looked Into the complete kits. Who offerers the best complete kit for the money? Also I noticed I still need to do something with gettingthe 2 lb residual valve or a 1" bore Master Cylinder and a proportioning valve?

low range off road has a bracket kit that will utilize 85 front rotors and calipers. I like the idea of not having to modify rotors or pay to much for it to have it all ready done. yes they are a solid rotor verses a vented rotor but it is for the rear and even some new cars still utilize a solid rear rotor. you will at that point use a 4 piston caliper verses a crappy slide bolt single piston set up. yes the work but open to issues.

So just calipers and rotors I need for this? Which can be bought for not that much I'm sure .

all pro offroad has a transfer case mounted disc E-brake kit(gear drive TC).
i've had the trail gear kit for a while now that i'm happy with.
you will need to do the 1" mc but you can use the stock proportioning valve.
i still need to install my willwood proportioning valve and get a dual diaphram booster.
