help. truck stumbling grr

So ive had a stumble in my truck and at stop lights the rpms would surge. Also at higher speeds like 100+ around the 3-4g mark it would cut out like fuel getting stopped. So i read around on here and replaced my afm. The truck ran fine for a couple months now its worst than ever. It happens at lower rpm randomly. Basically whenever i hit the throttle and need power feels like somone is stomping on the brakes.. also. Truck runs fine when cold so seems to be a problem when its heated up.
Engine 22re
odo broke at 209miles so prob has around 400 on it. Miles not km.
truck is a cali special. 94 reg cab 4x4

Also did a head job, cleaned intake out. Soaked injectors and gave them new seals about a year ago. Running denso plugs. New cap n rotor. Good wires.

My 90 acted same way for 2 months but would randomly shut off at red lights although would start back up instantly some days run great some days not. Ended up being a failing fuel pump. Check fuel pressure.
Mine is also a cali truck. Adjusting the afm helped mine for a while too then all heck broke loose
