Woke up this morning and started my truck, everything seemed fine until I let off the clutch. Once I let the clutch out the truck surged forward and stalled even though it was in neutral, I tried a few more times but it kept happening. I put it in reverse and then let off the clutch but again the truck surged forward and stalled. Any Ideas what is happening?? The truck is a 91 4x4 4-Runner 3VZE attached to the R150F 5 speed manual. This is my daily so I need any suggestions and help ASAP.

Just an offhanded guess here. It sure sounds like your transmission is stuck in a forward gear with a broken shifter. The key to this guess is what you said about putting it in reverse and still having the forward surge.
