Help with metal backed guides

I am putting my motor back together and the metal backed guides from Mizumo auto have one hole slotted on both guides anybody else use these if so did you put the bolt in the middle off the slotted hole or pushed one way or the other I'm thinking pushed in so the chain has the least slack but would like to hear from somebody else what they think or have experienced
thanks
Tommy

That's what I went with but the aftermarket timing cover has 2 high corners stoping the head gasket from sealing and maybe the oil pan as well just in case anyone is thinking of ordering from them

Your timing cover is typically milled to match your deck height of the engine block.

I know the oem covers are pricey, but you can get the Aisin cover at a fair price.
What brand did you try?
