Welcome to YotaTech.

Ball joint? Tie-rod end? Pitman arm? Leaf spring shackle?

Who could tell? It's a close-up of something covered with grease and dirt. That's all I can say.

If you got a picture of the area that wasn't so close-up, maybe someone could identify it by location. Maybe if you cleaned it up (spray degreaser), perhaps someone might recognize it. Don't forget that you need to identify what in the picture you're asking about. Even your extreme closeup shows a half-dozen different parts.

What year, two wheel or four wheel drive, and manual or automatic?

I do see black rubber, and it looks like it is leaking grease. Clean the area with a rag, and take a wider picture which would be helpful.

Best I can do is guess, and that would be a ball joint. If it's an upper ball joint, it's an easy fix on a 92 pickup two wheel drive.

Im having issues uploading and posting. I had this beautiful write up saying thank you and explaining my situation but as i go post it errors out and ive honestly grown frustrated trying to get this right. Ill have to just do it from a pc and not my phone. Anyhow, thank you for replying. My truck is a 1990 toyota pickup 4x4. Had an oil pump go bad and ive been cleaning up the mess since it was replaced. I was working on rotors and brakes yesterday and came across that *bushing?? Idk.. looks shot. Im novice at best when dealing with mechanics and would limit myself to smaller jobs at best and kinda wanna know if i should even mess with replacing whatever that is or take it to a shop. The part is near the drive train towards the front. Im trying to upload more photos but after the "alert" page it doesnt let me return to the post and deletes all ive written. .. here goes nothing...

Well, I wasn't even close. But I still can't say for sure. You ought to learn how to us MS Paint so you can label your pictures.

Pretty sure it's the differential mount, it has two vertical bolts holding it to the frame like that. Not gonna kill you if it's bad but it shouldn't be too bad to replace either. Couldn't find a PN for the bushing, just a few listings for the whole bracket.
