I just salvaged some courtesy lights [ignition light on column, ashtray/lighter ring light, and glove box lights] from a 4runner to install in my truck. They were an available option for the trucks but mine did'nt have them as a result I'm missing the parts of the body wiring harness that would connect these goodies.
Does anyone have an FSM for the 89-94 4runners/trucks or know where/what these items were connected to? I know the ignition light thing was on a timer that went out a few mins after the doors closed or something like that... Any help would be greatly appreciated...
[the glove box is not a problem that I can just hook up to a 12V source LOL
but the other crud needs to be connected to the dashlight dimmer and so forth...]

I'll have a look tonight in my FSM (1990 4Runner) to see if I can find out. I want an ignition and a courtesy light that stays on while I buckle up.

 

Thanks Matt let me know the yard had another 4runner there with the ignition courtesy light thing, if you want it I can try to see if they still have it. This yard does do a fairly quick crusher turn around though...
