Exclamation HELP Coolant in the intake manifold!

Hey Guys,
I just bought a 1990 Toyota 4Runner non Running, previous owner's mechanic thought the timing belt broke, we took a chance figuring even if we had to put a new engine in, we would still be under bluebook. Anyway, Belt is fine, so we dug deeper and found coolant in the throttle body, leading into the intake manifold, the engine has sucked the water out and left a jelly like residue at the opening of the intake. We asked around and someone said it could be a blown head gasket, another said to take the manifold apart to see how far the coolant got. The Engine turns but won't start. I can smell the gas from the exhaust, so no problem there. I know the 2nd generations had a a couple of recalls, but previous owner said all the necessary fixes have been made to it. Does anybody have any ideas? THANKS!

guessing it's the 3VZE / V6, no?

coolant IN the throttle body suggests an issue with the Auxillary Air Valve mounted to the bottom of the throttle body- basically is a coolant temp controlled valve that lets air around the throttle plate when the engine is cold to raise the idle speed then as the coolant (engine) warms up the valve closes, lowering the idle speed. Coolant flows through the valve so if there's coolant in the throttle body, that would be the first place I'd look.
