just bought my second 4runner. a 91. trying to beef up the suspension and get a little more ground clearance on a budget. got about a grand to work with. any suggestions? anything would help. thanks

 

I just installed OLD MAN EMU. Rear springs and shocks. That cleared up the rear butt sag and gave me an inch or two lift. I didn't measure the actual lift gain.

For the front. You kinda have choices. It depends on what your going to do with it. Very light off road? Heavy off road? City stomper? Camping rig?

I did long travel in the front and love it. That's going to exceed the 1,000 mark really fast, but it worth saving for.
