I have just picked up a 93 4Runner 5spd with cruse control. I have driven lots of 3VZ powerd trucks and 4Runners and none of then have this problem. The throttle is very hard to press down and has a very slow heavy feeling. I searched and was not able to find any info about this. The throttle feels normal if you use your hand the throttle its self and with the tention taken off the cable it moves freely.

Has anyone else had this problem?? If it is maybe that the cable is stiking and is that a common problem??

mine was like that a good cleaning of the throttle body seem to help

I had the same problem. it turned out to be that the second spring on the tb was very tight. so i took off the second spring and made my own with a spring from the local hardware store. works great now.
