Header and Tires questions WTB

Hey I'm wondering what is a good header for a 22RE (88 pickup)? I have only seen Pace Setter and Hedman. Not sure which is best or if I'm looking in the wrong place. Also I want to put bigger tires on... where's a good place to look for tires? I had to buy new tires when I bought the truck and didn't have the money to get what I wanted at the time. Wondering if I should try to work out a deal with the place that I bought them since I've only put about 1200 miles on them.

Like anything, it depends on how much money you want to spend. I bought a Downey header for my 86 4Runner because in my opinion i thought it was the best made header out there, its a bit on the expensive side but well worth it. just remember that you get what you pay for. As for the tires, go back to the tire place and see if they will work with you, if not then just sell them yourself, you will probably get more for them that way than what the tire shop will give you.

I'm using Doug Thorley headers and I can't complain. I've never had one crack on me and the performance is decent.

X2 on selling the tires yourself.
The tire shop is in it to make money so they won't give you much on the tires. But if you complain about the ride or say it shakes or doesn't stop well in wet weather then they may have a policy on customer satisfaction trade ups.

Good idea desertcamper...I was thinking of that with the tires as well. I will research the header some more.
