head bolt thread pitch

i am changing the head gaskets ON MY 95 4 RUNNER 3.0 GOING TO chase the head bolt threads but don't know the thread pitch i have a m12x1.25 but no go is it a m12x1.5? also where do you guys get your bolts and gasket kits from, i call the dealer he wanted more for head bolts and a gasket kit than the truck worth.

I went to Parts Dinosaur for my bolts (and various other parts).

I got the gaskets from Toyota... just decided to stay factory for those.

Not sure of the thread pitch, but Parts Dinosaur's service is top notch and he may be able to tell you via E-mail if you don't get an answer here first.

You can use one of your old head bolts as a chaser, just cut a groove up the bolt against the threads, I think engbldr suggested this and I used it on mine and it worked great!

ok, thanks, i have new bolts ordered anyway. i was told the bolts are m11x125 . but this one is not in my chaser set.

M11 does not sound like the correct size. Do a search on my user name for head bolt and it should come up with what I found.
