Why would brakes on a daily driver be less important than for a trail rig? Im thinking they would be 50x more important

Your right the brakes are more important on the road, and I sincerely mean this with no ill intent, but I am going to have to trust the gentleman who's living it is making brake lines word over yours. Unless of course you have tried such a set up or work in a similar field. Really though it is very hard to convey tone and manurisms (sp) over the net on a chat board. I really appreciate your input and words of wisdom.

I'm sure it will work ok....just not the route that I would take

FOILED!!!! Line guy can't get any fittings for TWO WEEKS!!!! That is just not gonna work....looks like i'm gonna be bending me some lines tonight....

Yeah it took me about 2 weeks to get my fittings too.
