Hey Guys, are the grills and bumper interchangable between the 86-89 years?

 

I... don't think so...

but at the same time, I've seen people put newer grills on the older trucks...

anything's possible with a little cutting and fabbing, but don't expect parts from different generation modles to be direct bolt ons

 

if you have a 4runner..then yes..for a pickup yes also..but it will require a LOT of work..

84-88 grilles are interchangeable on trucks.
84-89 grilles are interchangeable on 4runners..and a 4runner grill will fit on an 84-88 pickup
in '89 the pickup body style changed..so it won't be easy to do the swap.
and in 1990 the 4runner changed and only 90-91 grilles are interchangeable in the new body style of 4runners...because in 1992 the front end styling changed a bit..lol
