Got bored today...

pretty bored today so i did a couple small things on my truck...

went ahead and set up my new shade that my friend gave me for free...
its a sportshade awning and its pretty cool... this model is a couple years old and unfortunately doesnt retract anymore so it has to be manually rolled up, but free is free...
www.sportsshade.com

i also took the Downey IFS brace that i got from BLKNBKLU and ground down the really scuffed up areas and repainted it...
i think it turned out pretty nice...

finally i pulled off my emblems off my grill and repainted them... i was sick of all the little dings and the chrome plastic showing thru...
lots of model paint and lots of brush control are needed... dont drink anything with cafine or do any speed before hand...

also cleaned my K&N filter because i havent done that in a year...

I've been wanting to do some kind of awning for a long time. It rains ALOT here, and I camp often in the rain as a result.

cool pics. I like the invisible ones- they hide all the mistakes you make.

Dunno if it will hold up well in the rain, but we had prolly 15-20mph winds today and it didnt go nowhere...

Nicely Done; It takes a steady hand and a lot of patience when it comes to model paint and emblems.
