good thing the cam didnt break!!!
well, im officially an idiot.............
was going to adjust my valves today on the 3.0.......got the drivers side done, no problem, WAYYYYYYY out of spec, no resuable shims...... got to the passenger side, and wait a minute......is there supposed to be a #4 bearing cap sitting on top of the cam???? OH @(#$*.............i forgot something!!!
Well , good news, no damage, still running like a striped @ss ape! and does anyone want to guess how much better its going to run with it in spec??
im talkin all except 2 were about 1/3 off of spec..... the FSM shim selection chart seems to be dead on! any advice please post!
