Good engine parts sources
I am looking for a new front cover, gasket, oil pan gasket, timing chain, gears, and guides. I have contacted the local Toyota dealer and they want to charge around $500 for everything. Autozone is around $250, and I found a site called ENGNBLDR.com which is charging $86 for everything. I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the same things, where they got them, if they are satisfied, and any other place you reccommend. Thanks for your time, hmmwv15

Also try parts dinosaur, he is an ebay seller. I have bought alot of stuff from him and he is gets it to you fast. Idk if he is cheaper than engbldr but its worth a try. Try his ebay store. Good luck.

Parts Dinosaur is cheap but his gasket sets are very poor quality. The last 3.0 engine gasket set I purchased from him was not worth the money spent. Half the gaskets, mostly small items, were the wrong size or not in the box at all. I spent more money and time chasing down replacement and missing gaskets. Yes he gets the parts to you quick but a moot point in may case. I confronted him about this and he NEVER REPLIED. Go to Engine Builder to get your parts.
Been there, done that..........
