Good deal on gears?

http://s1336.photobucket.com/albums/...er_media_share

So I've decided to get 5.29 gears and want yukon. This guy the 200 talked him into 195 and this maybe a dumb question but would it come with all the things I need to do the front swab from 4.10's?

i couldn't fix your code to get the link to work..

200 into 195?? sorry but that makes no sense to me.

if you rebuild a diff I would recommend a solid pinion sleeve but a clush sleeve and a master install kit.

Think it was this one, there are only two pics in the library

Picture says 550, not 200. A "Master install" kit should have everything. And as always don't throw nothing out till your done, and maybe not even then.

What he's trying to say is that he wants to swap in a 5.29 ring with 4.10 pinion gears into 488 differentials he got for a grand from the 3rd member of this forum

yes you can pull you're 4.10's and put in 5.29's. It's not as easy as just swapping them though. You'll need to set the backlash to spec, and it really is a good idea to throw new bearings and seals in while you're in there (master install kit).

Don't get hung up on yukon, there are plenty of good gear makers out there, equal or better than yukon.

Okay I just read through every post on this thread and to be honest lil buddy I believe you may wanna slow down with the typing a little bit and double check your post before posting it. Half the post you have made makes absolutely no sense. With that being said I believe that your wanting to change your gears from the factory 4.10's to a aftermarket 5.29. CORRECT

Check out EBay. There's lots of gear packages on there that include a master install kit. Read there reviews. If your unsure of one do a google search to get more info.

I hope you have someone to do this swap for you. No offense to you, but you sound like you have no experience on swapping gears. It's not a pull out, put back thing. Lots of specialty tools and knowledge are needed to do this.

Have you considered 4.88's if so there's alot easier solution then buying new gears. Most of your 89-95 V6 automatic 4Runners came with this gear package. So then if you found a set at a local salvage yard it would be a direct replacement for ya.

There's alot of things to consider when selecting a new gear package. It's not a cheap swap and a regular backyard mechanic probably can't change them.

Pickup or runner..... That doesn't matter. There's know difference in the selected years between the diffs. I don't think you understood what I said.

What do you have exactly.....
Year
Make
Model
Engine
Tranny
Current tire size

Why are you hooked on Yukon. Have you considered a different brand. All info is needed
