Is it a good deal?

$1800 is a pretty good price. You can likely part it out for that much. Besides that, if you are looking to do a 3.4L swap, you will pay that much for an engine/harness/ecu combo anyways.

How crashed is it? When the frame went on my 98 taco I sold it for $1800 and it was in great shape (besides multiple points of frame failure).
If they wraped it around a tree 1800 might be pricey. Plus you gotta take into acount the junk-in-the-yard factor. Is it worth flack from your wife/family?
I would spend 1800 on a lot of other things before I spent it on a wrecked 4runner
