i agree with all the above. Fat chicks can't climb. hahaha that was hilarious, put some 33x14.5 boggers make it look like a frog. haha. don't let her drive your baby, its yours, plus you'll save gas money cuz she has to drive.

I still can't believe after all the support for the go ahead on the lift that we haven't seen any pics or a post that says the lift is ordered and on it's way.

Do whatever you want.

Your truck + Your money = Your decision

If she's trying to control you on this issue, imagine what else she will try to sink her claws in. And then you will be screwed.

Yep, mine says lifted trucks look too "Redneck," But in my opinion theres a difference between offroading in a classy vehicle and takin an american made POS sky high to drive it through mud puddles. She has yet to go wheeling with me and just says she doesnt understand the concept of spending money and beating up your vehicle just for fun... but she wont even give it a chance... I'm just doing my thing and waiting for her to come along. If she doesnt, then like the other said, it'll be my getaway from her and she will just miss out on all the great scenery. But her dog loves my rear window, so I can take him lol.

I got an idea, go to her house and look in her closet for her shoes, then tell her if you cant dictate how many shoes she has (and it will be alot) then she shouldnt say jack about your truck.

isn't that a good thing....?

But seriously, you don't need anymore lift for 33's...my truck is at stock height and fits 33x12.50's while barely touching when fully stuffed or full turning lock

Oh, and on a side note, body lift is never a good thing, stay low...

Get some 10" wide wheels with a 3.75 backspace. Then throw on some 33x12.5 tires. You will be almost 10" wider then you are right now. This will be way way more stable then even when you were stock. Even if you lift it higher then just the 3".

I run 38.5 Gumbos on 10" wide rims with 3.75 backspace. I have 3" body and about 5" suspension. SASed on a 91 4runner. Aside from HUGE body sway i am very stable. My gf doesnt like driving it because when the body sways she gets nervous however with me driving she is more then comfortable because i am use to driving it.

I put on stepbars to help her get in.

My gf doesnt like all the time i spend with my truck but she knows it makes me happy. She enjoys wheeling with me however she doesnt love it like it do.

Our current fight is which tires to run. She wants me to get 39.5 BOGGERS...i want TSL's. I think she really just likes the good vibes she gets when in the passenger seat from the off balanced boggers as it runs down the road. She also made me order up some custom hummer rims so that i dont have to worry about spinning a bead... I like it when she orders me around when it makes my truck better...lol

Dude, I think what she is trying to say is that she would rather ride in bucket seats than a lifted truck!

Not sure how his stance is going to be 10" wider. Assuming he has stock 4.75" backspaced rims, he will gain [B]2"[B]to his overall stance by going to rims with 3.75" backspacing. Assuming he has 10.5" wide wheels right now, by going to 12.5" wide wheels he will add another 2"
to his overall stance. Going to a 10" wide rim will gain him maybe a little over an 1" overall. Total about 5-6" not almost 10".

Don't let a woman get in the way of anything you do to your truck.

I let her spend her money how she wants and I spend mine how I want. end of discussion. Don't get in each others way and you won't have problems =) . She dont wanna ride in that truck, thats to damn bad for her. She can stay home.

My girl wants my truck to be bigger. Tho she still bitches about getting in it now with 4"...

highway 74, she does like the bucket seat idea a lot better then the lift, seats will come first...i think when the time comes, and when my money tree grows big and tall ( late spring early summer ) i will do the lift and tires the same time so i can blame the extra lift on the 33 inch tires

I have a solution!

1. Take off the body lift and install a 3 in suspension lift. (keep your body lift)
2. Install a washer in between the body and frame once a week.
3. Keep installing washers until you are close to your original body lift height.
4. Secretly reinstall your original body lift.
5. Start wearing lift blocks in your shoes, then accuse her of getting shorter.
