gears and mpg?

which rear end gears gives u the best gas mileage. 4.10, 4.88, others? im running a 95 4runner that currently has 4.88s.(im pretty sure)

if your running 4:88s stock, then you are stuck with them unless you swap in a new pumpkin

Don't think I'd worry bout messing with the rear end when it comes to MPG...Cost of regearing or swapping diffs just isn't worth it just for the mileage.

Wish I was "stuck" with 4.88's

you can swap other gears in. there was a thread about it a pretty good while back

I have 4.88s with a 3.0 with an auto and 32"s.

I will be getting 5.29s and 33s.

I currently get 13MPG.
