Gasket kit info

I'm trying to figure out which gasket goes where on some of the exterior parts of the 22re rebuild. Is there a diagram of which shows which gasket goes where? Most are obvious, but some of the exhaust tube related ones are not that easy to figure out. I assume the thicker metallic ones go closer to the exhaust but then there's the small exhaust tube that goes around the back of the engine to the intake.

The small ones are the confusing ones.

Thanks

http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/ has good parts diagrams, but no one diagram you're asking for. And for small gaskets, small diagrams are no help, really.

Your biggest problem, however, is that your "universal" gasket set includes extra parts for many different configurations. Here, if you don't have a few left over something is wrong.

Since you carefully saved all the old gaskets on your teardown, all you need to do is match up the ones you need from your set.

Yes, I carefully saved all of my gaskets from the teardwon, but I gave the two boxes of parts to the machine shop for the rebuild. They threw all the labeled bolts into the washer, and ruffled through the boxes for what the needed and I lost a lot of labels. So now I have a kick ass new long block, a box of misc bolts, and several external parts that I am matching up by tear down photos and the leftover of the gasket kit, which doesn't appear to come with the enough high temp small gaskets for the exhaust-related tubes. Got a 1 -year warranty, which I'll probably screw up by using a wrong gasket.

Thanks I'll look at the diagrams.
