Im going to made some spacers and use longer bolts for the tank to mount to the crossmember under the cab. The existing threads are inline with the holes in the gas tank.
I plan on making some motor mount spacers and a custom transfercase crossmember.

I did this mod because the round stock crossmemberfor the gas tank was all rotted and so was the frame in that area. I replaces the metal and I also made a 360 degree spray nozzel with a hose and sprayed por 15 into the entire frame after knocking as much rust as I could and blowing it all out with compressed air.

Painted the frame with some cheap flat black rust paint from home hardware after buzzing it down with a nice big wirewheel and the mastercraft maximum angle grinder and a drill with a brush at the end for the hard to reach area's. I think it looks much better now without the green undercoating with rust bubbles. Gotta love the body lift now.
