Hi all ,ive been doing a ton of work to my 1989 3vze runner as of late, and once it was back together it seems the fuel gauge doesn't pass the 1/4 full mark, and when the tank should be around half it is showing empty and the fuel light is coming on. (I still need to get it to a gas station to confirm that it is only half empty.)

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the fuel light/gas gauge sender? I cant seem to locate it anywhere, and i want to know if the light and the gauge are connected. I've read some people have the gauge go out and the light still works and others never knew they had a light or have never seen it function.
