Fuel Regulator ticking sound
I have a 91 runner with the stock 3.0. I noticed that at idle, the fuel regulator is constantly ticking. Is this normal? I am having an issue with the truck idling hella rough almost to the point of dying out on me. Thanks for any help.

No there isn't. So, good. It means the internal diaphragm is still good and the regulator hasn't failed. Atleast not in that way.
Try this; start the engine and let it warm up. Then, pinch the vacuum line to the regulator with some needle nose pliers and keep it pinched. Then pull it from the regulator. The idle RPM should jump up a bit. If not and there's no change, then you likely have a regulator problem.
