Fuel issues

I bypassed the COR and unhooked the fuel filter to see if fuel would come out, it did when I took off the line but not when the pump was running. Should fuel be coming out or no because its a closed system?

I assume you can HEAR the pump running. Then, yes, fuel should be gushing out of the line at the filter.
