Fuel Filter Location

Fuel Filter Location
I'm new so I'm sorry if I have asked a question already on an existing threat but I can't finger out how to search.
My question is where the bloody hell is the fuel filter on a '86 22RE. I'm in the middle of a lower end rebuild and I cannot remember where the fuel filter is located.
Can anyone help? A photo would be most helpful.

Yup, I know it's on the right side but I can't find any holes on the block that will line up with the holes on the filter and still allow the 'out' line to attach to the 'out' fitting on the filter. My next quest will be to finger out why fuel leaks out of the bottom tube on the charcoal canister - but fuel filter first.

Fingered it out. I went back downstairs and looked at the pile of brackets and found one the does the trick. Now I feel so dumb but I guess there's no way to insert photos here so I can't provide data for the next guy. I was able to attach two photos but I don't know how to show them in the text.
By-the-way, it's an '86 4WD pick-up if that matters.

Now the charcoal canister. It leaks fuel out of the bottom hose unless I loosen the gas cap. Someone told me it was because the canister is plugged but but I don't understand how that can happen. Any ideas?

Nope, I printed your photo and checked the cannister. The hoses are correct. What is supposed to be attached to the hose barb nearest the firewall? Neither your nor mine have anything there.

Purpose of Purge line is to apply vacuum to the canister to draw gasoline fumes out of it. Might be your canister is shot if that purge line has been off too long, it may have become saturated with gasoline. FSM has clearing and testing procedures.

Not hard to get to at all if you take the passenger wheel off, and the little access panel in the fender well off. Also makes replacing the starter a breeze too.

That is the Purge line and hooks to the P (purge) port on the throttle body:
