Hokay... as it stands, this is nearly impossible to diagnoss over the net..

First what kind of noise? "Weird" noise is pretty generic...

Second, what have you checked on the front end?

Here are some things you should check:

Wheel bearings - jack up each front wheel one at a time, grab at 2 and 8 oclock posistion, see if there is any play (you should see the whole wheel and hub move)

Idler arm - Get a friend to turn the wheel back and forth quickly, watch for ANY up/down movement of the idler arm. If its a stock one, it can rebuilt for under $10

Tie rods - check for excess movement

Leaking fluid, what colour? What does it smell like? Where abouts is it comming from?

If you just spend a little time poking and prodding you should be able to find the source.
I suggest you wash the motor down (avoid getting the ALT wet) and use a nice degreaser. Then you should be able to find the source..

What kind of noise? It might help to use more adjectives than "weird" as there are lots of "weird" noises. If it's a grinding noise, it may be your steering stops. Search for that.

Fluid leaking up front would be either oil, brake fluid, coolant or power steering (ATF) fluid.
Makes noise under braking- probably either worn brakes, wheel bearings or... don't know.
Makes noise turning- wheel bearings or power steering?

A few more adjectives to describe the noise and fluid and where it "seems" the noise is coming from would be greatly appreciated.

if the fluid is thick sticky grease, one of your front axle shafts is about to asplode (assuming it's making as much noise as you say). the boot has torn, the grease has flung out, and the joint is boned. buy a new axle.
