Rancho makes one, but DO NOT install it. It was nothing but problems, ate ball joints almost weekly, and never held an alignmet.

If you are looking for offroad performance I would look at going with a 4". If you just want looks then you could put a BJ spacer and crank your bars. Depends on what size tire you want, etc.

If it were mine I would either run 31's and stay within 1-2" of stock. Or go with a 4" and run 33-35's, depending on what you want to do.

Also, I am not a big fan of AAL's. they are usually stronger than your stock leaves and tend to cause them to bend in unnatural ways, creating a W shape when compressed.

Most of the 4" bracket lifts are 3" of lift brackets and then you get the extra inch by cranking the torsion bars. Trailmaster for example is one. You could buy a Rough Country basic kit (for example) with rear blocks and just don't use the blocks, complete with shocks for under $600.

lol well last night i "edited" my for sale thread on those spacers. My main reason why is stated in the thread BUT i could change my mind any day.

To make a long story short, i just bought a nice 3rd gen but after driving it for a few days its not what i want to wheel. So now i already have my eyes set on another 2nd gen....Its an excellent condition '92, 5spd, rebuilt 22re, with detroit rear locker. IF i get it, I *might* use the spacers for wheeling this summer up untill i have all the parts i need for a SAS. If i don't use the spacers and you still need them, your first on the list.

LOL. I was just busting on you Rocket. I'll have to go look at your thread. I haven't in a while. I'll be rebuilding my front end this spring, but first I need to take care of my t-chain guides. Are you keeping the 3rd gen too if you get the '92? They both sound nice, but I myself prefer the 2nd gens. That '92 sounds like a good place to start.

89red4x4yota, sorry for the hijack!

My 4" procomp is also a 4" true lift. In fact where it sits now, with 35's, my CV angles are better than stock.

I disagree. I have wheeled my truck from stock to 3" rancho, to a 4" procomp. Infact when I sold my runner I kept the bracket lift to put on my 92. The bracket lift is by far the best setup for what I do. I found that with the bracket lift my alignment is always good, where as with the 3" it was always out. The poblem I had with 31's and stock height was it was stock height. I had a low breakover angle. Just going to a larger tire would have added about .5" to that. With 35's and a 4" I have much more overall ground clearance, breakover angle improvment is fantastic. I have also found the bracket to be very strong.

just my .02
