front diffs blown up & its a 4:30 G/r ?

so I have a 93 yota v6 3.0 I was wheeling this last weekend and heard something pop in the front end pulled the front diff cover and I destroyed my ring gear. i checked my ratio and it comes out to 4:30 and I cant find anywhere that carries that ratio. also i wanted to put a limited slip or possi in there. Any recommends thats stong and cost effective.

do research on the gear tag found on the inside of your truck's door jamb. there are numbers on there that will identify what gears were in it. this website has answers for anything you're looking for.. you just have to look.

There's gotta be 4:30 gears selling somewhere, have you googled it yet? I didn't know that came stock for pickups, but I guess the pinion paint code would be blue for that according to this. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=190640

Don't see where he was asking how to find his ratio. Looks like he was asking where to BUY 7.5" 4.30s

As far as that goes, good luck, have never seen them for sale. Best bet is maybe a wrecker, print out the list of codes, take it to the wrecker, check the door jamb for the gear code against your list and maybe you'll luck out.

92 thru 95 4runners 3.0 with a 5spd and 225 tires usually have 4:30 gears in them. I had a couple of sets from from 4runners I had parted out. I have since sold them, but that is what to look for if you want 4:30 gears. You can't get them new from anybody that I have found that sells gears.

Also 86-88 PU/4Runner with automatic transmissions have them, which all had 225/75s(so that's not worth investigating). Look for axle codes G282 & G284.

well i pulled the front diff out yesterday and counted my ring and pinion gears I have 43 ring and 10 pinion which is the rare 4:30. I think im going to upgrade my gear ratio to 4:56 with superior front gears. im going to check out the local junkyard for a rear used 4:56 third member. If anyone has a limited setup for the front or rear for sale im interested. i also checked the vin stamp and its deffinetly the 4:30

Are you sure? Because I'll snag those 4.30s if you don't want 'em.

4.30's would be a huge improvement over the 3.27 that i have now with 31's want 33's eventually 4.30's would probably be a good gear choice. let me see where I'm at Monday after i get all my bills paid

I think Im going to keep my 3rd member just b/c I think I could use it another day, my garage is filling up w/ parts from toyotas and im collecting more just cause i like yotas.
I picked up a used 3rd member from our local bone yard for $150 w/ 4:56 out of a tacoma I believe cause it has the abs unit at the top of the diff. I installed it today and its all ok I like the power difference so far, Im ordering my front gears when I get my taxes. And then wheeling here I come to test them out.
