Front diff binded up?

Alright, hopefully someone can help me figure this one out..

So, yesterday after school i slid into a curb.. not to hard at all. ( i saw a sick first gen so i had to pull a u-turn) So, i hit the curb and drive away. Nothing bad, no noises no clunks.. nothing.
This was in 2wd with the hubs unlocked..

Today i went to grab coffee and wanted to see how well 2Low worked, so i put it into 4low,(hubs unlocked) everything shifted as normal but when i wanted to move it felt like the ebrake was on. So i pulled the ebrake out, pushed it back in. Still teh same thing All afternoon i was worried about what happened, if i broke something in the diff.. bent something.. who knows.

After school i tried again, gave it more gas and it "unlocked" its self sorta speak.
almost like it binded up. After that, everything was fine

Can that happen? Should i go check anything? Should i drain the fluid and see if there are any metal chunks/shavings?

Thanks guys

Thats really wierd, because if you drove fine, in 2wd hi, and you tried 2wdL and it was like the ebrake was on??? The only thing turning was the diff, and driveshaft, maybe you did bind it up, but I have never heard of that happening...ever!!!

maybe sliding into the curb bent the frame in and is causing the cv joints on that side to bind?
or just compressing the control arm bushings was enough to get that one side binding a bit in the joints.
