Forgot Where These Go

'92 22RE...I'm doing a head gasket. I just put the oil pump on. The thermostat long bolt was hard enough.
I can't remember these shoulder bolts at all. Do you guys know where they go ?

If I'm not mistaken, these bolts retain the timing chain guides.

Yes, that's right. This time I used the dreaded steel reinforced guides. My previous chain sawed into the water pump housing. Seeing the big mess, I removed my head for no reason. Duh !

And if using the oem plastic guides they can still move a bit once those bolts are torqued down.
