Exclamation Ford guys thumbs down

So where i come from theres a one mile strip that runs up and down
all the kids race an show off cars trucks and what not.
There is a different group of diesel junkies
these guys think their trucks are king s#it
all they do is talk crap about my truck.
for example, telling me to do a burnout in the yoda and such.
i even tell them ill go more places and out last any of their trucks

what do i do about this...

i really need a group of yoda haveing fools to show them whoes who.

btw-they aint got nothing on the 22r-e

Full size diesel trucks are pretty sweet. I plan on owning one very soon. I think its their attitude that becomes very annoying to the rest. Definitely ask them to go wheeling...then when their 6k lb pigs sink leave them behind

their attitude is so pathetic. and some are dodge users too
whoever blows the most black smoke is the most popular

for plain and simple power in a 'cheap' truck, the powerstroke diesel engine is the 'bomb'. however, 'bomb' has multiple connotations....
I worked for a company that 90% of the fleet was ford powerstroke, and EVERY SINGLE ONE had a problem with the rear main oil seal letting go at around 85,000 miles... EVERY SINGLE ONE had a problem with the camshaft position sensor (used to time injection) at around 125,000 miles... and several had a problem with the driver pulling the air filter out because of the damned light on the dash and the related loss of power... which caused several of them to have to be rebuilt/replaced with the attached cost of about 8000 US dollars per engine, and another 1200 for replacing the turbo's.
Me, on the other hand, had one of the TWO gas engined Fords (5.7L/351cid if it matters) in the fleet and I took mine from about 48k when I got it to over 215k when they let me go and only had to replace 2 of the 8 ignition coils (@ about 185K) and replace brakes and tires (about every 20k for the brakes and about 50k for the tires).

As for how it relates to a toyota truck? Seems like it's the typical machisimo some people have, forgoing raw power for stamina....

so just ask your current 'flava of the day' what she wants: a man that do anything for a few minutes, or a man than can keep-on-keepin-on for hours.

i drive an 96 f250 powerstroke as my daily driver with some simple mods intake tuner and exhaust. both trucks defently have there place thats why i own both, the power stroke gets almost the same millage as the Toyota but the big difference is the price of the fuel. both my trucks are 5 speeds the Toyota would probably take the ford up to about 20 or so then the power stroke would walk allover it. but the big difference is my ford will tow an 20k lb trailer witch it does quite often without a complaint the Toyota would never be able to do that. and the Toyota will simply fit places my extended cab long box truck wouldn't even think of. but 18-20mpg out of a full size truck that can tow like a freight train cant beat it. no reason to put down a toyota they both have there place. also my power stroke has 215000 miles and my toyota has 235000 miles they both run great but the heads have never been off the ford the Toyota has been torn down twice.

i agree with the comment so Meany people own big trucks and never use them for there intended purpose, they give a bad name to everyone. realy i need a bigger truck than i have not that i want to show that i have big gonads but i realy need an 1 ton dually im constantly having to run across the scales and re balance my weight to keep my rear Axel weight in check. im getting pretty good at guessing if im over by looking at how the truck is sitting but still check my weight at the scales

Who cares what other people think? Do you really need lesson in self esteem right now? That guy who brags either has a little penis or gets beat up by his girlfriend. Just think about that and smile when they talk $h!t. F - em. Nothing pisses a tough guy off more then a good smile and a nod of the head. You the man!
