Flowmaster 40 series offset IN and OUT

hey hey,

so I did a search and couldn't find the info i needed.

I've been shopping for a Flowmaster 40 series muffler and was curious if there are any concerns/requirements regarding the inlet/outlet offset.
i'm looking for a 2.25" in/out.

right now i have a straight through magnaflow and the sound is too mellow for my taste. nice sound compared to stock, but not my taste.
i wouldn't mind something that sounded good and throaty and could maybe set off a few car alarms in the parking structures.

thanks.

when you say "40 series" watch what you get there is like 3 different ones. i prefer the 40 series delta flow over the original. Sounds a little less ricey

i just did mine. offset really doesn't matter. i will say though that it came out a lot quieter than i expected. i used 2 inch tubing to tuck it up farther.

okay so i did a little more research:

Original
Delta Flow
Super 40
Super 44 (newer)

I read all the mumbo jumbo from flowmaster and i think i'm going with the Super 40.

anyone heard anything about the super 44?
