Flex a lite 165 or 180???
Planning to swap my mechanical fan for an electric fan on my 22re. was wondering which model (flex a lite 165 or 180). Ive heard that the 165 may not cool good enough...and also, does the 180 bolt right up like the 165 does. thanks for the help

neither get a taurus fan its two speeds with a high ~5000cfm and a low like 2800cfm both speeds will keep you redicuosly cool and only cost about $35 its just about a bolt on fan too. not much to it. do a search on them. definetly what I would do if I were you.

Welcome to Yotatech!!
I'd go with the 165. I have one and it does just fine to cool my fluid. That 180 is a 15" fan but it's mounting surface is huge. Really, you can make anything work.

thanks for the info guys...just wondering what you mean by using the taurus fan. Do you mean the flex a lite electric fan kit for a taurus, or do you mean using a stock taurus fan. Sorry for the ignorance but i just wanna make sure I make the right purchase when selecting an electric fan, thanks
