They don't really have the new 4 doors, they do sell them but I haven't seen any on the road. I have seen a couple new 2 doors but not many, and the ones like mine are not all that common either, although WAY more than the new model. The gasoline ones aren't even sold here. A V8 would be nice, but the way gas prices are here it would require veeery deep pockets. That doesn't stop me from wanting to put a nice LSx in there though!

The new 2 Dr 4Runner is actually from a forum member, forget his call name, but it WAS for sale on here. Its all stock but with the typically bum, low compression engine. Thats on its way out to make room fgor a 3.4. Thats why I wanted to know who was doing the conversions now that ORS is out! This one is not going to be as high as the other one, just the 2" ball joint spacer to keep it as a nice daily driver. Oh, and the fender flares of course!

I really like the two doors too! Plus they are just not common at all. I have only had two four door cars ever, one an FJ60, and a Passat.

Lets say the price was right...even though I still need to do the 3.4 swap, and other odds and ends so it will be more.

I'm sure it will turn out nice. Good luck on the motor swap . Another nice 2dr 2nd gen find.

Yeah, it turned out great. I'm almost thinking of leaving flareless, do it more African style with no flares and really skinny tires. Then again, if I found the factory Toyota flares I would put them on.

Actually, I'm not even sure if the factory flares are two piece for the back ones. If they are then that won't work.

Well, I have no idea why I didn't think of this before Just went over to Autotrader UK, where they do sell the 4Runner with factory flares, and saw that the factory flare will work with the 2dr. What I was worried about was the flare having that curve to clear the gas door. What the factory one does is that it sits lower, clearing the gas door. Sweeettt! Now...the hard part, finding a set. Oh, and the rear ones are one piece too!
