Just so you all know. I bought the Chevy leaf stuff and some ironman fj80 2" springs. I'll find out how the geometry is thrown off with stock links and then I will extend the links and try it out.

I'm interested to see how this works out. The links seem like they would be pretty easy to extend but at that point the thing I would wonder about would be the binding since they aren't heims etc. If they're tall enough you may as well start building a link system

Hiems arent that expensive if you look around . Im thinking about replacing all these factory links with adjustables and hiems or johnny joints. Hey sctrep how did you handle the pinion angle with the rear lift? Or did you even have a problem?

Not a lot of detail but the truck seems to have mostly a stock rear suspension and flexes pretty well. Lifted cruiser springs, panhard drop (probably want around a 6" drop I guess at that point..), adjustable upper links, and an adjustable pan hard bar. It also looks pretty even height wise. It would be nice to know the front hanger height, the shackle length, the leaf spring details etc. Your truck looks REALLY tall even compared to this one in the front. Maybe the springs need some time to relax a little.

The rear end on that truck looks like it works quite well.

Well I will get some measurements. I also FINALLY received my 2" ironman fj springs. So I'm gonna check it out. I figured I would have to extend all 4 links. No? Hmmm. I'll keep everyone posted.

Well I can assure you I've certainly never really done any real work extending links etc. but in my diluted mind I can see having an adjustable/extended pan hard and an adjustable/extended pair of upper links being enough in a lower budget scenario or to get out of a pinch. It could slightly correct pinion angle, allow enough lift, keep the rear ward sway due to flex from letting the tires eat the quarter panels, and probably flex quite well. The shorter length lower link might actually help with pinion angle, but adjustable there would also be king.

That truck does flex quite well in the rear though, better than I thought with stock link mounts and close to stock length.

I just shortened my lower links 2" to correct my pinion but be warned it shortened my wheel base 2" . I would do the uppers instead to correct pinion angle. Btw dom 1.75" .188 wall sleeves the lowers perfect.

Figured I would give an update. I found a fabricator that knows his stuff. He is in the process of extending /fabricating links in the rear. I just told him what I needed and let him do it. He told me he's about to start on his tube chassis for his Crawler. I feel good about this. I will get some pics ASAP.

Picked up the runner!!!!!!!!!! And I love it. The links were extended and the ironman 2" fj springs installed. It is still low in the rear but I can deal with it. It's to dark now but I will post up pics early in the a.m.
